Transplanting

April 25, 2011

April 2nd:

The first seedlings we transplanted were the spinach, the tiny tim tomatoes, and the mesclun mix. We weren’t really sure when they were big enough, but as soon as it looked like they were running out of space, we went for it. For the first few weeks after the transplanting we covered the seedlings with the top halves of small plastic containers in the case of the spinach and tomatoes, and large flat lids for the mesclun mix.
